Unsolved Mysteries of Gettysburg - Join us for an evening of fun and mystery as we explore some of Gettysburg's most notorious tales of murder, lies, scandal, and curiosities. These true stories will capture your imagination and keep you spellbound! This tour leaves from the Gettysburg Hotel located at 1 Lincoln Square.

Gettysburg’s Mysteries, Oddities, and Strange Occurrences -Who said history wasn’t fun!?! Join us for a fun, quirky, and entertaining tour of Gettysburg’s odder (but true) history. Guides will take you on a journey through the southern end of town. These true stories include a president’s ancestor, a long ago murder, one of the first “mobile” homes, and more. This tour leaves from the American Civil War Wax Museum on Steinwehr Avenue.

Gettysburg History Primer

Come and immerse yourself in Gettysburg’s rich history! If you are a buff, live or work in town, a visitor, or are planning to take the Licensed Town Guide exam on November 12th; this seminar is for you. We will examine the founding and development of the town, the passionate and often contentious politics, religious diversity, the importance of education, the town’s industry, and many other topics that delve into the fascinating and long history of the town we all love!

Guided walking tours in downtown Gettysburg by Licensed Town Guides are 90 minutes. The tours provide stories from diary entries, personal accounts, letters, drawings, and photographs with stories of Tillie Pierce, Henrietta Shriver, the canon known as “Penelope”, Mary Virginia Wade, Sarah Broadhead, Mary McAllister, Elizabeth Gilbert, John Burns and many, many others.
