Welcome to Gettysburg, the most famous small town in America,

With a population of nearly 7,500, Gettysburg offers a sophisticated
and varied adventure. The Borough of Gettysburg has maintained
and restored the towns historic architecture, and our charming
downtown hosts more than 100 stores and restaurants, as well as
an abundance of bed-and-breakfasts and hotels.
The historic town of Gettysburg is located south of Exit 17
on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, at the crossroads of U. S. Routes
15 and 30.
